Canada Geese are often called "Honkers" because of their sound, a rich, musical Honk! They fly overhead in a ‘V’ formation.

Some of these geese come south to the United States and Mexico for the winter, and go back to Canada and Alaska for the summer. But most of them no longer migrate. There are so many of these geese, and they make such a mess, that they are considered pests in parks and suburbs.
