Honey Bees live only about 40 days. Before a bee
gets to do the job of gathering pollen and nectar, it has to do other work.
It will spend about 4 days on each of these other jobs: Cleaning; feeding
the larva; building and repairing the hive; storing the pollen and nectar that the other bees bring
in; guarding the hive entrance. |
